SELF-CHANGE
Self-Change
has two primary aspects: psychological and spiritual -
which are very different from one another.
Personal self-change encompasses adjustments or alterations
of behaviors, attitudes, beliefs, and other aspects of personality
which a person may choose to make in response to guidance
from his or her inner self. Hypnosis
provides one historically natural approach for those interested
in personal self-change. Various forms of counseling
provide other ways, as well..
Spiritual self-change involves absolute nonattachement
to any of the characteristics of the personality at all. It
is a complete transformation of one's entire being. From this
perspective it is possible to realize the true unity
of being - to grasp that one both is and is not oneself,
or neither is or is not oneself, at one and the same time.
Each
is compatible with the other. Just as I need to have a
car to navigate the streets of my city, I also need a personality
through which to navigate the road of life. And just as I
do well to have the best functioning car for the purpose,
so too I should have a personality optimally suited to fulfill
its role in my spiritual journey.
Both
aspects of self-change are important when it comes to
truly comprehensive counseling, hypnotherapy, mentoring/coaching,
consulting, training, and presentations.
In
organizational
consulting, for instance, the consultant who best understands
the nature of self-change to begin with will be the best choice
to facilitate change solutions at all levels, from executive mentoring to personnel
issues and strategic planning.
Organizational
self-change benefits from programs combining hypnosis
and self-hypnosis for executive stress management and
employee health in general. Such programs have proven to be
cost effective and can be fully delivered in a very short
time.
Like a person, an organization may be thought of as
having its own true nature -- its highest level of fulfillment. When
any organization follows what is best in itself without inappropriate
attachment to corporate self-image, it ensures itself a long
and successful future.
Personal
and organizational change are best undertaken with a spiritual
approach.
When self-change is a reality right action follows
naturally for individuals, families, and organizations alike.
If
you are serious about change,
then there is no time to wait
and no reason for delay.
